The LEGO Group reported news of their upcoming LEGO One Piece series, based on the popular Netflix adaptation, back on 23rd January 2025. Stating, “Fans of LEGO building and ONE PIECE can prepare to embark on an adventure through the East Blue where fans will experience iconic moments and scenes from the hit live-action adaptation in a new way, ahead of the epic return of the live-action ONE PIECE Season 2.

LEGO One Piece Rumours

Following the LEGO One Piece news, rumours have surfaced online that provide names, prices and part counts for 5 sets in the series, all due for an August 2025 release.

75637: Buggy’s Circus537$49.99
75638: Arlong Park926$79.99
75639: Going Merry1376$129.99
75640: Baratie3402$299.99

Based on the rumours published on Instagram by Falconbrickstudios, it would appear that fans are in for some fun LEGO sets. The Going Merry, rumoured to be a 1,376 piece build, would certainly make a lot of sense. As the Straw Hat Pirates’ first real ship, and their reliable vessel throughout their East Blue and Grand Line adventures, I think this is going to be a key set in the new LEGO One Piece line.

Partys Bar, Arlong Park and Buggy’s circus all make great choices for play sets. If the rumours are true, it will be interesting to see how fans react to a LEGO version of Arlong Park, since the animated version in the Netflix adaptation it received a fair amount of criticism.

The biggest LEGO One Piece rumoured set is the Baratie, a fish headed, ocean-going restaurant. With 3,402 pieces, the ship would likely be a similar size to the Endevour (10355). The fish head is actually a mobile attack unit, called Sabagashira, an interesting feature that would have made a fun play feature on a set at a lower price point.

The LEGO / Netflix Collaboration

During a recent interview Lena Dixen, Senior Vice President for Core Businesses at the Lego Group, said, “This is a truly special collaboration. For the first time, Lego play and the exciting world of anime meet. Building the world of ONE PIECE, as depicted in the Netflix live-action adaptation, in Lego brick form has been such an exciting challenge, and I couldn’t be more excited for fans to experience the new adventures this ONE PIECE collaboration will bring them for the first time.” She added, “Throughout this project with Netflix and Tomorrow Studios, it has been an exciting, collaborative process, and I think that shows in all the grand adventures we will begin to unveil soon.”

During the interview, Josh Simon, Netflix’s Vice President of Consumer Products, discussed the collaboration between the LEGO Group and Netflix, “We are excited to collaborate with Lego, a brand synonymous with creativity and the joy of play, to mark a historic moment as we build out the treasured manga’s adventures in iconic Lego form for the first time ever. Through every detail of the design process, we’ve worked to meticulously create a collection of play sets that will give fans new ways to live out their own epic voyages into the Grand Line, one special brick at a time.”

The collaboration between LEGO and Netflix is an exciting one indeed, opening doors for many new IP’s and LEGO set possibilities.
