10345: LEGO Lord of the Rings, The Shire – Full Details

The LEGO Group have officially revealed details of the latest LEGO Lord of the Rings set, 10345: The Shire. 10345: The Lord of the Rings: The Shire (£229.99/$269.99/€269.99) will be available from 5th April 2025, with LEGO Insiders members gaining early access from 2nd April 2025.

In addition, between 2nd – 8th April 2025, those who purchase 10345: The Shire via LEGO.com and LEGO Stores will receive a LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings: Sméagol & Deagol minibuild as a Gift with Purchase. Run, don’t walk!

10345: The Shire is a 2,017-piece diorama which completes the trilogy of Middle Earth inspired sets, depicting Bilbo Baggins’ eleventy-first birthday party in the heart of Hobbiton. Along with the iconic green door of Bilbo’s hobbit-hole, the set includes nine of Tolkien’s most beloved characters captured in Minifigure form; Bilbo Baggins, Frodo, Mrs. Proudfoot, Farmer Proudfoot, Merry, Pippin, Rosie Cotton, Samwise Gamgee and Gandalf the Grey.

Interactive elements include being able to transform a burning letter into The One Ring and to make Bilbo vanish with a turn of a dial or recreating the dragon firework scene with interchangeable heads for Merry and Pippin. The set also includes Gandalf’s horse and cart, fireworks, a firework dragon figure, the Party Tree, a party pavilion and Bilbo’s book, which can be displayed open or closed.

Actor Sean Astin, who portrayed Samwise Gamgee in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, has collaborated with the LEGO Group in the making of an exclusive mini-film celebrating the launch of LEGO Icons 10345: The Lord of the Rings: The Shire.
